ABOUT ME
PAUL JOYCE
I am the founder of PMJ personal training and sports fitness, based at two venues; Crossfit 252 Chesterfield and Structure Sport and Fitness, Sheffield. I have been providing coaching support to the general public since 2011, helping people who want to lose weight, get stronger, fitter, and improve their quality of life through exercise and people who want to break a lifetime of poor lifestyle habits through nutrition and lifestyle coaching.
Graduating with a BSc from the University of Glamorgan in Sports Science and Rugby and gaining further coaching qualifications via the National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM), Precision Nutrition (Pn), and Online Training Academy (OTA) as a;

I previously worked at Peak Performance Centre of Excellence, Rugby as part of a multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists, rehabilitation experts and strength and conditioning coaches I was the lead coach to the general public clients and athletes, also as a corrective exercise specialist for 2 years.

"Involved in sport and fitness all my life, as a child I participated in many different sports including swimming, springboard diving, gymnastics, table tennis, badminton, volleyball, athletics, 5 a-side football, and rugby. Rugby is my real passion. Throughout my rugby career playing representative rugby for my school, university, and the region, and I still play for Dronfield RUFC and represent Derbyshire RUFC."

An expert in personal training, nutrition and lifestyle coaching both in-person and online. I have been providing coaching support to the general public since 2011, helping people who want to lose weight, get stronger, fitter, and improve their quality of life through exercise and people who want to break a lifetime of poor lifestyle habits through nutrition and lifestyle coaching. Programmes are designed to be specific to the individual’s needs. I am able to do this by continuously developing my skills as a coach through highly respected organisations including the National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM), Precision Nutrition (PN), and the Online Training Academy (OTA), as well as others after completing my initial degree in Sports Science from the University of Glamorgan.
Online training
Online training provides you the ability to train on days and times that work for you. It may not be practical to see your coach in person, this could be due to work commitments, other personal commitments, or geography.

hybrid training
Hybrid training is a combination of both in-person and online training. If you want in-person support but your schedule makes it impractical to meet your coach regularly, this is the ideal format for you. You can arrange an extended in-person session as and when it works for you, to look at exercise techniques, make adjustments and troubleshoot any other issues. Then receive the same top quality support via my online support in-between.
